The Manzana Girdling Tools are used to increase the yield of fruit trees. The girdling process is executed by three rotating cutting discs that cut horizontally into the bark of a tree trunk or branch. The Manzana brand are known for their outstanding quality products imported from Spain.
Advantages:
Each disc completes a third of the girdling process of one branch, so the operator only has to perform a third of the turning, thus reducing the effort and time needed. With the traditional girdlers, the operator has to perform a turn of at least half of the branch.
The rotating discs cut into the fruit tree’s bark without tearing it, enabling a more precise cut and preventing unnecessary stripping. (Unlike conventional girdling tools that perform the cut by means of dragging.)
